Dear 4-H, FFA Livestock Sale Supporter:
The Asotin County Fair Livestock Sale (4-H & FFA) has historically been the
most successful sale in the area.
This success comes from the communities’ continued support and more
specifically your individual support at the sale.
We would like to welcome you to the 2017 Asotin County Fair, and again ask
for your support at the livestock sale.
The fair is a tradition of family and community values.
The sale will start Saturday, April 29th at 5:00 p.m. in
the Guy Bennett sale arena.
The Sale will start promptly at 5:00 p.m. - Please make plans to attend the
Sale order: Rabbits, chickens,
goats, lambs, hogs, steers.
You can support the sale in three ways:
by purchasing an animal directly which may be re-sold at the posted support
price, then you as a buyer pay the difference; or you may retain ownership
of the animal for your own use, which then you would pay the entire purchase
price. For example, if you
purchase a 125 lb. lamb at $4.00/lb., your cost is as follows:
SECOND, you may add a specific dollar amount of support
to any or all the individual 4-H or FFA participants.
You may do this by completing a support slip, which is available at
the sales office during the fair or on our website www.asotinfairsale.com.
The sales office is located by the hog barn/sale arena.
giving a check to the Livestock Sale to use as a safety net for those kids
who didn’t have a buyer present or additional support.
These funds are much appreciated as it enables us to utilize them
where they are needed most.
Both of these options will return a specific dollar amount to the
participant, which results in a valuable economic lesson for the participant
as well as a reward for their hard work.
If you cannot attend the sale, you can call a board director with your
specific instructions, and they can buy or give individual support per your
wish. You can also
download the Support Form and either mail the form with your check for
support or fax the form to 208-746-4758.
The Asotin County Fair and the 4-H, FFA Livestock Sale is conducted by
volunteer parents, leaders and fair directors; however, it takes the
communities’ financial support.
We thank you for your past support and respectfully ask for your continued
